Just days after being recognized on @forbesunder30, we were thrilled to be selected as one of the finalists at Western Angels’ Demo Day!🚀

Fun story: back in April, when Xatoms was first started and we applied to Demo Day, we actually got rejected. Now, after a year of progress, we’ve made it to the stage.

This amazing event started during COVID brought together visionary investors and innovative startups from the Western University community. We were honored to showcase our water purification technology, powered by AI and quantum chemistry, to tackle one of the world’s most pressing challenges—access to clean drinking water. 💧

During our pitch, we shared not only our investment ask but also the immense potential of Xatoms to transform lives on a global scale. The opportunity to connect with investors and industry leaders was truly invaluable.

A huge thank you to the @morrissette.entrepreneurship, @iveybusiness School at Western University, and everyone who supported us throughout this journey. It was a pleasure to join the day with other Western accelerator startups, @joinempowerelle, @ediefarming, and Herald.

This Human Rights Day, we reflect on the fundamental human right to access clean water and sanitation—essential to health, dignity, and prosperity. Yet, 2 billion people worldwide lack access to safe drinking water, and 1.69 billion live without adequate sanitation. 💧

Water safety is a global issue, affecting not only regions in Africa but also communities in North America, Europe, and Asia, driven by factors like infrastructure decay, pollution, and social inequalities. Addressing these diverse challenges is essential to ensure safe, affordable water for health, education, and economic opportunities for all communities worldwide.
